I'm hoping that BBC's Watchdog programme, is seriously considering an investigation into Ryanair's rogue business practices.
Ryanair's CEO Michael O’Leary should be a top contender for its rogue trader's gallery on BBC one's watchdog. The company is currently withholding hundreds of thousands of pounds if not millions, in ex-passengers money who have had their flights cancelled due to COVID-19. The CAA who is responsible for enforcing the law is doing nothing to return these monies to its desperate passengers.
These cases have been in the press and highlighted by money-saving expert Martin Lewis. So today I have written to the CEO of the CAA to ask what he is intending to do to hold Ryanair to account for its actions and how he is going to tackle Ryanair in returning ex-passengers money.
As regular readers will know, I do have a vested interest in this particular case as they are holding £263 of our cancelled flight money but nevertheless, we should not I want these types of businesses in our district operating out of Southend airport.
