I read with much amusement, (in this month’s Tory Times) the irony of MP Mark Francois, outraged over the road works and subsequent traffic chaos caused by…. his own national and local party’s desire to allow development without adequate infrastructure.
To ‘mug off’ the electorate even further he taunts joe public with the illusion that ‘he’s on their side’ – but he actively ‘props up’ the local councillors who support the over development without infrastructure. In the recent by-election, he was out campaigning with new sheep candidates who will follow the party lines and do as they are told to do!
Don’t be a victim and be fooled by the odd Conservative Councillor appearing to be rebellious and vote against planning consent, for they are not being at all rebellious, they are simply playing the numbers game. The Conservatives meetings before meetings make for a finely crafted vote which will give them the outcome they desire, which in simple terms will be more housing and more chaos with very minimal contributions from developers for infrastructure! BE WARNED
