Rayleigh High Street Gets Life-Saving Bleed Control Kit

Councillor James Newport with bleed control kit

I’m pleased to report that Rayleigh High Street now has a bleed control kit available which has been installed today by both Chris Stanley and I. The Town Council passed a motion put forward by myself to purchase two kits.

Funded by Rayleigh Town Council, this life-saving kit is available to anyone who is suffering severe blood loss. One kit is located on the side of the Crown Hill toilets next to the defibrillator and the other will be located in King George V park.

To access the kit dial 999 and the code will be given.

With thanks to the Daniel Baird Foundation for the advice given
