I recently received complaints from residents about the mud and debris left on the road by contractors working on the Rawreth Lane housing and the development adjacent to the BP station on London Rd. I subsequently contacted them via the council and am pleased to say they were both engaging about making sure this was rectified as soon as possible. Please let me or any of the team know if any further issues occur.

Dear Councillor Newport

I write further to our correspondence on Thursday regarding the loose debris on Rawreth Lane.

Having liaised with the site manager at Wolsey Park, I can confirm that the road is being swept regularly and checked for loose materials. A wheel wash is also in place to clean the wheels of construction vehicles leaving the site.

The site team is continuing to monitor this situation regularly as works progress but should there be any further queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Many thanks

Yours sincerely

Maria
