I've recently had an update from officers on the electric vehicle charging point installation as I thought the project had stalled more times than a learner driver.
Our officer tells me...
The Rapid chargers will be installed from Monday 18th, with bay marking taking place from Wednesday 20th.
Subject to this going to plan and the fitting of some final bits (RCD and lighting column insulation), we should be good for a launch date before Christmas.
We are in the planning process for taxi charging points, and is due to liase with the taxi licensing officer in the next few weeks for to take forward.
